The Agency is a top-secret organization, sanctioned by the
United States government. Its existence is not widely known outside official
circles.
The Agency is charged with investigating criminal activity of
a highly unusual nature—crimes that otherwise would go unstopped. Its
opponents are those rare criminal masterminds and mad scientists with dreams of
world domination.
The Agency's high-tech underground headquarters are located
far beneath one of the largest skyscrapers in downtown Chicago.
