When we got to Orlando, we checked into the Caribbean Beach Resort. This resort is on the Walt Disney World property, near both Epcot and the Disney-MGM Studios. Our building was #14 in the Barbados section. There are 33 different buildings in six different sections of the resort, all arranged around a big lake. Each section has its own swimming pool and white sand beach--and its own color scheme! At the center of the Caribbean Beach Resort is an area called Old Port Royale, which includes a really big swimming pool (with water slide), boat rentals, and Centertown. Centertown is a big central building that houses a food court, videogame arcade, and a big Disney store. Alec and Ben really liked the Caribbean Beach Resort, and we ended up eating most of our meals in the food court. It certainly was convenient--plus, there was that videogame arcade!
