Here's a quick day-by-day guide to what we did on
our excellent vacation:

| Friday, July 21 |
Flew from Chicago (via ATA) to
Fort Lauderdale, drove to Uncle Mark's house, ate dinner, and
relaxed. |
| Saturday, July 22 |
Visited the Hollywood Beach, swam
in the ocean, saw the Pokemon
2000 movie, and played Monopoly.
(Plus: Uncle Mike helped Uncle Mark
buy a new computer!) |
| Sunday, July 23 |
Took an airboat ride in the
Florida Everglades, visited an alligator island, and watched
the X-Men movie.
(Plus: Uncle Mike helped Uncle
Mark set up his new computer!) |
| Monday, July 24 |
Drove to Orlando (through a big
rainstorm!), checked into our rooms at the Walt
Disney World Caribbean Beach Resort, visited the Disney-MGM
Studios, and saw the following attractions:
The Magic of Disney Animation
Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular
Star Tours
The Great Movie Ride |
| Tuesday, July 25 |
Visited Disney's
Animal Kingdom, and saw the following attractions:
It's Tough to Be a Bug!
DINOSAUR
Kilimanjaro Safaris
Kali River Rapids
Then we came back to the hotel, swam in the pool, played games
at the arcade, and shopped at the Downtown
Disney Marketplace--then we had room-service pizza for
dinner! |
| Wednesday, July 26 |
Visited Islands
of Adventure and Universal
Studios, and saw the following attractions:
The Amazing Adventures of Spider-Man
Popeye & Bluto's Bilge-Rat Barges
Jurassic Park River Adventure
Lucy: A Tribute
Terminator 2: 3D
Kongfrontation
Earthquake: The Big One
Then we came back to the hotel, rested, played games at
the arcade, and bought some presents. |
| Thursday, July 27 |
Drove back to Uncle Mark's, then
relaxed. We played Star Wars Monopoly (and Alec finally won!)
and watched The
World is Not Enough on DVD. Then Uncle Mark and Aunt
Stephanie drove us to the Fort Lauderdale airport, and after a
TWO-HOUR DELAY (!!!) we flew back to Chicago--where Mom and
Dad picked us up and took us home. (Yay!) |
